Now and then in the wake of taking a photograph you find that the highlights are blown. Here is a speedy technique to settle blown highlights in Photoshop. You can do it in Photoshop too.

Step 2 : Press CTRL+J to copy the foundation Layer. Press CTRL+SHIFT+N to open another Layer 2 above Layer 1. 

Step 3 : Click the Brush Tool.

Step 5 : Lower the Opacity of the Brush to 20% in the top board.

Step 9 : Paint over the highlights.

Step 11 : Ensure that the Foreground Color is set to Black.
